Don’t get scammed by Discount Yacht Brokerage Firms. In the real world of Yacht & Ship Brokerage Sales, discount yacht brokerage firms are simply a joke! Knowing how to properly pre-qualify a buyer is not an easy task. If you do not properly pre-qualify a buyer that calls on your boat, you will find yourself wasting a lot of time and money! Every buyer that GOLDEN GATE BOAT SALES presents your boat to in person is totally pre-qualified and ready, willing, and able to make the purchase. No survey or sea trial takes place on your boat until we have a signed purchase agreement in place between you and the buyer with and agreed price, terms and conditions, as well as a ten (10%) deposit from the buyer secured in our escrow account. In addition, if you have a loan payoff on your boat you should be realistic in knowing that most all buyers will not hand over a pile of cash to you in hope that you will in fact payoff the boat loan as well as any liens or encumbrances that may be on the vessel.
It is by far much safer for the buyer and seller to use a licensed and bonded Yacht & Ship Brokerage whenever there is a loan payoff involved!
